Goulburn Project

This extension to a Victorian cottage in Seymour was designed by Bruce Mactier Building Designers and built by Hateley Construct, with interiors by Resident Avenue. A black-clad addition at the back opens the home up to modern family life and the garden.

The burnished polished concrete floor gives the new living space a smooth, soft-grey base with a gentle sheen. It sits calmly beside the custom blue and timber kitchen and flows straight out towards the outdoors.

Joining old and new on an uneven existing structure takes care. We worked with Hateley Construct so the new slab was finished to suit the levels and details of the extension.
