Burnished Concrete
Burnishing tightens and smooths the surface of fresh concrete with power trowels, giving a dense, hard-wearing floor with a natural sheen and no grinding.
Burnished concrete is achieved during the pour: once the slab reaches the right stage of set, it is repeatedly trowelled to compact the surface and draw up a smooth, glossy cream finish.
It is a practical, economical choice for garages, sheds, warehouses and larger residential slabs where a clean, durable floor is wanted without the cost of full mechanical polishing.
